One person reads this inbox, so plain email works better than a form. Please include the puzzle date and difficulty if you are reporting a problem with a board.

Reporting a broken puzzle
This is the report I most want to receive. Every board is machine-verified solvable before publication, so if one genuinely cannot be solved, something in the generator is wrong and I need to know. Include:
- The puzzle date, exactly as it appears in the URL (for example 2026-05-14)
- Which difficulty — easy, medium or hard
- What you had placed when you got stuck, if you can describe it
- Your browser and whether you were on a phone, tablet or desktop
Other things worth writing about
- A rules page is wrong or unclear. If an explanation misled you, that is a defect in the page, not in you.
- Accessibility problems. Keyboard traps, screen-reader issues, colour contrast, anything that makes a board unplayable. These get priority.
- Privacy requests. Access, deletion, or opting out of personalised advertising — see the privacy policy for what is collected.
What I cannot help with
I cannot help with New York Times accounts, subscriptions, billing, or their puzzles. EnergyPips is an independent site with no connection to the NYT — for anything relating to their games you will need to contact them directly.
I also cannot supply solutions to puzzles published elsewhere. Every board on this site carries its own verified answer diagram on its archive page, behind a disclosure you open yourself, so there is never a need to ask for one here.
What happens to your email
It goes to one inbox, read by one person, and is not added to any mailing list — there is no newsletter to be subscribed to. Bug reports are kept until the bug is fixed so I can write back and tell you it was; everything else is deleted once it has been answered. If you would prefer your message deleted immediately after a reply, say so and it will be.
